– Dedicated hosting
Dedicated hosting providers: InMotion Hosting, TMD Hosting, A2 Hosting, and Interserver.
This type of website hosting gives you complete control over the server your website is on since you rent the whole server and your website is the only hosting website on that specific server.
While it’s able to handle traffic spikes and highly increased website traffic, it’s a bit costly, which is why many small and medium website owners can’t afford it.
– VPS hosting
VPS hosting providers: InMotion Hosting, Interserver, Netmoly, and A Small Orange.
If you want to have control over the server your website is on but you’re short on funds to pay for the expensive dedicated hosting, you can contact these VPS hosting providers.
VPS hosting splits a server into a few smaller virtual servers where each website has its own mini-version of a dedicated server, but they’re sharing the server with a few other users and although the bigger number of websites on the server can affect the ability to handle traffic spikes, the users still have root access to their own virtual space and better hosting environment.
– Cloud hosting
Cloud hosting providers: WP Engine, Pressidium, and Hostgator.
It’s a good way to handle big traffic spikes as well as get a cheap domain since it works in a way that a group of service providers working together to host a few websites. The only thing is that they don’t usually offer root access, or offer it at a higher cost. Root access is needed when you want to install some software or change server settings.
Keep in mind that the website is never finished. You can change and update it from time to time and also correct any mistakes. It reaches out a lot of people from any part of the world, so find the company with the website hosting and designs you like and which you can easily change and update, so you can always stand out from the others.
